Kindergarten Registration
Elma Elementary will hold Kindergarten Registration on Wednesday, April 17, from 9:00 - 12:00 and 1:00 - 3:30. Registration will be at the Superintendent's Office in the Board Room. The Superintendent's Office is located on the Elementary Campus. All children who reside in the Elma School District and are five (5) years old on or before August 31, 2013 are eligible to register for the 2013-2014 school year. Proof of your child’s immunizations and a birth certificate are required on the day of registration. Once we receive your student’s birth certificate and shot records your student will be placed on a class list. It is extremely important for planning and staffing for next year that your child is registered as soon as possible.
Parent Requests
During the week of April 22nd through the 26th, parents and guardians have the opportunity to give us feedback on the placement of their children for the up-coming school year 2013-2014. If you would like to provide feedback you can pick up a form in the main office to fill out and schedule an appointment with the principal during that week. We do not allow requests for teachers, but ask that parents focus on the learning style and needs of their child. We welcome your input as the one who knows your student(s) best.
